The process of buying a Steinway grand from us at Klangmanufaktur begins with getting to know and playing our instruments at the workshop. As we do not have a retail store, the next step would be for us to search for the right grand piano to suit your needs. We would then refurbish it fully, with an open invitation for you to visit us at workshop throughout the process. Your final commitment to buy a tailor-made Steinway would only come after work on the piano is complete.

Invest

You may also purchase our Steinway grand pianos as a cultural investment. We rent the instrument to artists and concert venues on a long-term basis for 4 % rent per year, which is passed on to you in full. This offer is designed for private investors, heirs of grand pianos and as a mission investment for foundation capital.
